Keno Methods That Will Help You Win

[ English ]

It may not commonly be considered the sexiest game in the universe of gaming, but keno has massive amounts of passionate players. And why not? It’s a routinely exciting lotto-ish game that’s a snap to learn, abundantly available in loads of assorted formats, and one that may return millions of dollars for gamblers who master its endless subtle nuances. But let’s start with the beginner’s rules here.

When describing keno to newcomers, some gaming masters compare it to lotto. This is at least to a certain degree apt, in that each game is essentially numerical. But to take that comparison too far will be to minimize the countless unique characteristics that make keno so fun. Not like bingo, keno users have the freedom to select the numbers for each and every card.

Keno cards have a total of 80 numbers, but the player is given an additional degree of personal responsibility by being able to pick as many (or as few) numbers as she wants. And it doesn’t take a doctor of keno to figure out how to fill out a card: all you do is circle or otherwise mark all your chosen numbers with a good oldball point pen like you had when you were in school.

After you have marked your numbers, take your keno card back to the keno pit manager at the keno stand. The person will record those numbers and then hand you a receipt. Do not drop this (potentially) lucrative bit of paper! Even if the clerk remembers your mug and wants help out, without a winning ticket with you, you will get exactly $.00 for your winning card.

Ok, there you have strategy #1: always be sure to keep your keno receipt. Let us move on to something a little more useful, what do you think?

After you’ve picked your numbers, get into a comfortable keno booth and watch the action take place on a monitor. That is where the winning numbers appear for us. If you have winning numbers, mark your card aptly. Make sure not to dilly dally, or sit there praising yourself for too great a length of time. You want to get back to the keno booth to collect your winnings, since a new keno game will almost certainly get going within 5 minutes.

Strategy #2: always make sure to get back to the keno stand on time!

Since you don’t trust yourself to meet that five-minute margin every time, you always retain the option of buying a "multi-race" card. These include the very same set of your chosen numbers on anywhere from 2 to twenty slips. When the maximum amount of keno games (matching the amount of tickets) is completed, you can then get off your lazy back side and go retrieve your winnings.

Yet another option is referred to as a "stray and play" keno card, which normally allows you make number choices for 30 games or more. Gosh, you can take vacation to Greece and not have to fret about getting back in time to get your numbers. Most "stray and play" cards are good for up to a whole year after you by it!

So now you have learned several essential schemes for winning keno. If you are an accomplished keno player, they might seem stupidly obvious. Still, it will never hurt to bone up on the fundamentals, and if you are a new gambler, every bit of information will help make your keno playing more exciting.
