Keno Schemes That Win

[ English ]

It won’t usually be deemed the most lucrative game in the realm of betting, but keno has loads of fanatical supporters. As well it should! It’s a routinely thrilling lottery-style game that’s simple to learn, readily available in several different variations, and one that might return mega-dollars for gamblers who master its heaps of subtle nuances. But let’s start with the basic rules for now.

When explaining keno to amateurs, some gaming experts compare it to the lottery. This is at least in some ways correct, in that both games are essentially numerical. However, to carry that comparison too far is likely to be to downplay the many unique traits that make keno so compelling. Unlike bingo, keno enthusiasts have the ability to select the numbers for each card.

Keno cards have a grand total of eighty numbers, but the gambler is given an additional level of personal responsibility by being able to decide on as many (or as few) numbers as he thinks is appropriate. And it doesn’t take a doctor of keno to figure out how to fill out a card: all you do is circle or otherwise mark all your picked numbers with a ordinary#2 pencil like you used when you were a kid.

Once you’ve checked your numbers, carry your keno card back to the clerk at the keno booth. The person will record those numbers and then give you a receipt. Do not lose this (potentially) lucrative piece of paper! Even if the keno pit manager remembers your face and would like to help out, without a winning receipt in hand, you will get exactly $.00 for your efforts.

So, there you have strategy numero uno: always take care to keep your keno receipt. Let’s get on to something a tiny bit more complicated, yes?

After you’ve marked your numbers, get into a comfortable keno booth and see the action take place on the keno monitor. That is where the winning numbers show up for us. If you checked winners, mark your card aptly. Make sure not to take too much time, or sit there congratulating yourself for an obnoxious length of time. You are required to get up to the keno booth to collect your winnings, since a new round of keno will probably get going within not too many minutes.

Strategy number 2: always make sure to get back to the keno stand on time!

Assuming you don’t trust yourself to meet that five-minute margin each and every time, you always retain the option of using a "multi-race" ticket. These include the very same set of your picked numbers on anywhere from two to twenty cards. When the maximum amount of keno games (the same as the number of tickets) is played, you are then able to get off your lazy butt and go collect your winnings.

Another opportunity is referred to as a "stray and play" keno slip, which usually lets you make number selection for 30 keno games or more. Golly, you can take a Swedish massage and not have to fret about getting back in time to redeem your numbers. Most "stray and play" game cards are good for up to a whole year after it’s purchased!

And now you are aware of a couple of essential techniques for winning keno. If you are a good gambler, they might seem stupidly obvious. Still, it will not hurt to brush up on the basic strategies, and if you are a beginner player, every little bit of direction will help make your keno games more entertaining.
