Keno Tactics That Win

It won’t often be considered the most lucrative game in the realm of gaming, but keno has millions and millions of passionate followers. And so it should! It’s a constantly thrilling lotto-esque game that’s uncomplicated to play, readily available in loads of assorted styles, and one that will yield millions of dollars for people who learn its many subtle nuances. But let’s begin with the basics here.

When defining keno to newcomers, some gaming pros compare it to bingo. This is at least in some ways correct, in that both games are generally numerical. But to carry that comparison too far would be to devalue the countless unique characteristics that make keno so interesting. Unlike bingo, keno enthusiasts have the freedom to choose the numbers for each card.

Keno cards have a total of eighty numbers, but the player is granted an additional degree of personal responsibility by being able to choose as numerous (or as few) numbers as he or she needs. And it doesn’t take a super genius to figure out how to fill out a card: all you do is circle or otherwise mark all of your handpicked numbers with a standardball point pen like you had when you were in third grade.

After you have checked your numbers, carry your game card back to the girl at the keno stand. The clerk will record those numbers and then hand you a receipt. Don’t misplace this (potentially) lucrative bit of paper! Even if the keno pit manager remembers your pretty face and would like to help out, without a winning slip with you, you will get precisely $.00 for your time spent.

Ok, there you have strategy numero uno: always be sure to keep your keno ticket. Let us move to something a bit more complex, ok?

After you’ve picked out your numbers, settle into a comfy keno booth and watch the action take place on the video monitor. That is where the winning numbers are displayed in lights. If you marked winning numbers, mark your card accordingly. Make sure not to drag your feet, or sit there praising yourself for an obnoxious length of time. You need to get up to the keno stand to collect your winnings, and then a new keno game will almost certainly begin within a few minutes.

Strategy #2: always make sure to get back to the keno booth on time!

Assuming you can’t trust yourself to meet that five-minute margin each time, you always have the option of purchasing a "multi-race" ticket. These include the self same set of your handpicked numbers on anywhere from two to twenty tickets. When the maximum number of games (the same as the number of tickets) is finished, you are then able to get off your lazy butt and go redeem your winnings.

Yet an additional choice is referred to as a "stray and play" keno card, which generally lets you make number choices for thirty rounds or more. Gosh, you can take a Swedish massage and not have to get uptight about getting back in time to collect your winnings. Most "stray and play" tickets are good for up to a whole year after purchase!

So now you have learned a couple required techniques for winning keno. If you are a good gambler, they may seem to be incredibly obvious. Still, it doesn’t hurt to bone up on the basics, and if you are a newbie gambler, every tiny bit of direction will help make your keno betting more entertaining.
